Amelia T. Franco

Amelia T. Franco passed away November 11, 2022 at home in Bakersfield, CA. She was 80 years old. She was born on February 24, 1942 to Salvador Luna and Maria Luna. Amelia grew up in Bakersfield, CA and was married to Marcos G. Franco. She worked as a preschool aide and as a housekeeper. She was a member of Oasis Christian Center for over 30 years where she was a greeter. Amelia loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She often invited them over for breakfast and to hang out. She enjoyed shopping and yard sales. She also enjoyed reading her bible. Amelia is survived by her sisters Vera Maldonado,Trinidad (Trini) Flores and her brother Eddie Luna. Her 2 sons Robert Franco And Manuel Gonzales and her daughter Rosemarie and husband David Jasso. Four grand daughters and 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Marcos G. Franco, her son Marcos G. Franco jr. and 2 siblings Rachel Edwards and Sal Luna Jr.
