Baldo Lomas, 74, passed away on Thursday November 3rd, in Bakersfield California. 
He was born on October 16, 1948, in Bakersfield California to Baldo and Madeline Lomas.
Baldo graduated in 1966 from Bakersfield High School, where he was a standout track athlete.
He also followed his father’s footsteps in becoming a drummer where he played for many social events.
After high school, Baldo joined the navy in 1966-1969 during the Vietnam War, where he learned his profession of welding.
From welding he earned many awards for passing difficult tests in one try.
Those accomplishments earned him jobs working on one of the space shuttles, the Alaskan pipeline, and the Diablo Nuclear plant.
His hobbies were camping, fishing, and going to Vegas. But his passion was bowling, where he won many rings for his perfect 300 games.
He was preceded in death by his parents Baldo and Madeline Lomas. He is survived by his longtime partner Ernestine Torres
and family, his two children Veronica Jaime and husband Johnny Jaime, Steven Lomas and his wife Anna Lomas,
seven grandchildren, Bobby and Erica Gonzales, Jessica and John Jaime, Steven Jr. and Nicholas Lomas,
and his great granddaughter Laila Nava.
Dad we are all proud of what you accomplished in your life and
can’t wait to be reunited with you again. Love you and may you rest in Peace.
