Betty Jo Phillips

Betty Jo (Cartwright) Phillips , 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 27, 2024, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family.

Betty was a faithful Christian who devoted her time to her family, community and serving God. She had strong work ethic and was a dedicated employee of Community First Bank in Lamont until her retirement in 1988. In addition, she faithfully served as church secretary at the Lamont Assembly of God. She returns home to the Lord to join her husband, Orville Phillips, daughter Vicky Clark and son Ricky Clark.
Betty is survived by her daughters Janis Sayrahder (Jay)and Lynn Davidson, grandchildren Stephanie Newbold (Cole), Melissa Lamb (Brian),Michael Lonon (Wanda), Jeremiah Carroll and Christina Trout (Randell),thirteen great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and sisters in law Ruby Rushing (Phil) and Dale Billingsley.
