Bobbie Jean Searcy

Bobbie Jean Searcy, 91 passed away on 9/1/2023 at home in Bakersfield, California. She was born 12/17/1931 in Atoka, Oklahoma to Porter and Ada Dunham.
Bobbie married George Searcy in 1961 in Bakersfield California. They were happily married for 42 years.
George and Bobbie were both members of Columbus Street Baptist church and their greatest joy was
serving GOd.
Bobbie is survived by her sisters Effie LittleJohn and (Bobby), Patty Miner, daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Harvey Lemon, Adah Rene' Romero and son-In-law Gilbert Romero, of Bakersfield, Step-Son Jerry Searcy of Modesto California, Step-daughters, Lavoya Searcy, Sherry Searcy of Arkansas. Bobbie was so proud of her children and grandchildren all 67 and 1 on the way.
Bobbie was preceded in death by George Searcy (spouse), Cherylle Fino (daughter) Bruce Searcy (step
Son), Porter and Ada Dunham parents).
A viewing will be held at Basham Funeral Care, 3312 Niles Street, Bakersfield California at 4-8pm
September 12, 2023. Funeral will follow on September 13, 2023 at Greenlawn Cemetery SW in Bakersfield, California, 2739 Panama Lane Bakersfield, California.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Bristol Hospice, Bakerstield.
