 David Hinzo, born on February 28, 1949, to Luis Hinzo and Ramona Dominguez, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2025. A dedicated and hardworking man, David devoted 25 years of service to the City of Bakersfield, leaving a lasting impact on his community.

 David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose kindness and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dolores M. Martinez, his cherished children, Gina Renee Hinzo and David Louis Hinzo, and his adored grandchildren: David J. Parraz III, Gabriella D. Hinzo, Gabriel A. Meza, Daisy G. Hinzo, and David L. Hinzo II. His legacy continues through his precious great-grandchildren, Mario A. Castaneda and Ava S. Parraz.

David’s warmth, wisdom, and dedication to his family and community will forever be remembered. His love and guidance will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
