She spent a lot of time next door with her grandparents. She had a very special relationship with Grandma Mary. As a young girl she learned from her father to ride horses and start colts. She raised, trained and showed horses. She worked in western retail and was a talented western artist. She had an infinite love of animals and always had a pet or two in her life. Dea-Anne graduated from Foothill High School in 1977. She was the school mascot at football games riding her black horse while wearing Trojan Armore very time they scored a touchdown. She leaned strongly on her faith, trusted God and praised Him often. Dea-Anne loved unconditionally and completely. She always had a positive outlook, smile on her face and openness toward others. Her laugh was contagious and the joy she gave will be forever remembered. A NASCAR fan, Go Harvick! A few years ago, she began watching and cheering for the KC Chiefs. A memorial service will be held March 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Basham Funeral Care 3312 Niles St. In lieu of flowers you may donate to Wounded Warrior Project in Dea-Anne’s honor.
