Epifania Ozuna

Epifania Ozuna, 77 years old, passed away on December 9, 2022 in Los Angeles, CA. Epifania was born on August 10, 1945 in El Peine, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to parents Silverio Gonzalez and Eusebia Galvan. Epifania grew up in El Palmarito, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She married Raul Ozuna in 1965 and came to the United States. They were happily married for 32 years and raised a family of six children together. Epifania worked as a farmworker then as a homemaker for her last 40 years. She enjoyed raising her children and grandchildren, cooking for her family, baking cookies and empanadas, sewing, gardening, visits from family and friends, and trips to the casino.
Epifania was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Agapita Gonzalez de Gomez and Maria Graciela Gonzalez Galvan, brother Silverio Gonzalez Jr., and her husband. She was widowed on March 29, 1997.
She is survived by her brothers: Cesar Gonzalez, Ovidio Gonzalez, and Benito Gonzalez, her children: Carmen Ozuna, Ruben Ozuna, Maria del Rosario Ozuna, Raul Ozuna Jr., Alicia Ozuna, and Rene Ozuna, her grandchildren: Cynthia Ozuna, Ruben Ozuna Jr., Marco Emilio Lopez, Roman Jacob Ozuna, Daniela Cassandra Lopez, Jonathan Michael Ozuna, Joel Villarreal, Alexa Renae Ozuna, Emily Ray Ozuna, Diego Villarreal, Marissa Villarreal, and Jaylah Sofia Ozuna, and her great-granddaughter: Adeline Chavez Lopez.
An overnight vigil will be held in her home in Rancho Largo de la Reforma, Nuevo Leon. Burial will follow at the cemetery of La Bermeja y El Palmarito, Nuevo Leon. She will be laid to rest with her husband, Raul Ozuna.
