Jerome Mark Mojica

In loving memory of Jerome Mark Mojica, who passed away on October 1, 2023. 
Jerome was born on October 25, 1957 in Bakersfield, California, he was the second eldest of eight brothers and sisters. He attended Foothill High School. Upon graduating he enlisted in the United States Navy in which he proudly served his country from 1976 to 1980. Afterwards, he attended Bakersfield College, earning an associate degree.
As a young man, Jerome loved fishing with his brothers and dad at the banks of the Kern River. He loved and enjoyed all his nephews and nieces. He loved telling them all about his Navy journeys and his love of working on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier. He loved his dog Chico, birds, and his cat Tiger.
Jerome was a loving, caring person and will be missed dearly.  
He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel C. Mojica and Rachel Mojica, nephews, Danny Marquez, and Erik Mojica. He is survived by his sisters, Lenora, Sonya, and Maxine. Brothers, Noel, Mario, Brablio and Maximilian. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
