Jerry “Andy” Andres Lopez

Jerry “Andy” Andres Lopez passed away on December 11, 2022 at the age of 53. He was born on September 16, 1969 to Martha and Juan Antonio Lopez. Andy grew up in Bakersfield where he attended East Bakersfield High School. He met Lisa Sanchez in 1989 and they fell deeply in love and had a son Jerry Andres Jr. in 1994. As a kid Andy loved martial arts, Bruce Lee being his favorite. It was common to find his Chinese stars or nun chucks laying around the house. He had a great love for animals. This was obvious in how he spoiled his little dog Mia who he called “Mama.” He made sure she had her daily walks, insisted she get only filtered water to drink and made sure she was always taken care of. He is survived by his devoted mother Martha Depina, Brother Juan Lopez Jr., Sister-in-law Anita Orozco, Sister Sarah Kirschner, Son Jerry Andres Lopez Jr., Daughter-in-law Breann Lopez, Grandchildren, Jonah Lopez, Abigail Lopez, Jerry Lopez III, Kaia Lopez, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. He is preceded in death by his Father Juan Antonio Lopez Sr., brother Ernest Lopez, Grandparents Raphael and Dolores Orozco. Jerry will be greatly missed.
