Jesus Armendariz

Jesus Armendariz, 77, passed away on July 9, 2022 at Memorial Hospital in Bakersfield, California. He was born on July 10, 1945 in Las Varas, Chihuahua Mexico to Jesús Manuel Armendáriz and Margarita Reyes. Jesus grew up in Delicias, Chihuahua, where he took full responsibility of his siblings and mother after the death of his father at a young age of 13. Later Jesus moved to the United States in order to support his siblings and mother, while they still live in Mexico. Throughout his years in the United States, he had several jobs leading up to his final occupation as a laborer for the Union Pacific, where he worked for 25 years. Jesus met Veronica Salgado in Lamont California, fell in love and later married in 1971 in Delicias Chihuahua. They were happily married for 50 years, where they grew together in their golden years and enjoyed sharing their life with each other.

Jesus was a great dancer and enjoyed socializing with his family, friends and was quick to make friendships. He was not a shy person and extremely outgoing, which people around him appreciated. He was fun to be around and enjoyed making others laugh. He also enjoyed spending time with his children watching soccer, boxing, basketball and football. In his later years he enjoyed watching family feud in Spanish and the Price is Right he also enjoyed spending time with his kids that kept him surrounded through his final years and final days. Jesus is survived by his spouse Veronica, his sons Marcos, David, Javier, his grandchildren Itzabella, Ruby, Janessa, Javi, his siblings Ofelia ,Ramon, Isabella, Lupe, Maguita and Juan.

Nació el 10 de julio de 1945 en Las Varas, Chihuahua, México, hijo de Jesús Manuel Armendáriz y Margarita Reyes. Jesús creció en Delicias, Chihuahua, donde asumió toda la responsabilidad de sus hermanos y su madre después de la muerte de su padre a la edad de 13 años. Más tarde, Jesús se mudó a los Estados Unidos para mantener a sus hermanos y a su madre, mientras todavía vivían en México. Jesus era un excelente bailador y disfrutaba estar entre familia, amistades y bien amistoso con personas que no conocía. El no era vergonzoso y extremadamente sociable, que todos apreciamos mucho. Nos encantaba estar en su circuló de felicidad porque siempre hallaba une método de hacernos reír. También le gustaba pasar tiempo con sus hijos viendo fútbol, boxeo, baloncesto y fútbol americano. En sus últimos años disfrutó viendo Family Feud en español y Price is Right, también disfrutó pasar tiempo con sus hijos, lo que lo mantuvo rodeado durante sus últimos años y últimos días. A Jesús le sobreviven su esposa Verónica, sus hijos Marcos, David, Javier, sus nietos Itzabella, Ruby, Janessa, Javi, sus hermanos Ofelia, Ramón, Isabel, Lupe, Maguita y Juan.
