It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Jesse Martinez on March 25, 2023. Jesse was beloved by all his family

Jesse was born on  06/21/1975 in Bakersfield.  He attended Fairfax and Foothill High School where he wrestled, ran track, baseball  and played football.

Jesse was known for his sense of humor. His smile was contagious and we will miss his stories, only he could tell.  There will not be a day that goes by that we will not think of him and cherish the memories we shared with him.

He was proceeded in death by his Aunt Betty Ayers and Aunt Sherry Kindle. He is survived by his parents, Jesus (Gloria) Martinez & Bud and Cynthia Ayers. Siblings:  Nicole, (Nathan), Allen (Marisa), Shellie (Jerry) , and Brian.  His children:  Jesse, Breann, Dolley, and Dana. Grandkids:  Skyler, Sullyn, MacKenzie, Ryan and multiple nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be April 17th 5-8pm. His service will be April 18th at 11 am at Basham on Niles St.

Although the man with the golden heart is gone in body, his spirit will continue to live in us and will always be with us.   Until we meet again…We love you!
