Jimmy Ray Sewell

Jimmy Ray Sewell was born to Gladys and Jimmy Sewell. He joined the US Navy in 1973 and served on the USS Constellation.

Jimmy is survived by his wife Peggy Sewell, his mother Gladys Benskin, his children Aaron and Jason Sewell, Tiffany Grounds, Melissa Mccutcheon, stepdaughters Lisa, Sara and Jeanne, many grandchildren, siblings Gene, Bobby, Ricky, Margie, Debbie and Connie. He is preceded in death by his father Jimmy Sewell, sibilings Mike, Butch, Joanne and Jackie, he also leaves many nephews, nieces and many friends. Jimmy lost his beloved dog Shamrock, his constant companion, shortly after his death.

Funeral services are Wednesday, March 2nd at 10:30a.m. at Basham Funeral Home on Niles. Final resting to follow at Bakersfield National Cemetery.
