Johnny Gregory Sanchez was born on September 7, 1944 in Bakersfield, California and passed away on March 25, 2024 at his home with his family by his side. He attended Bakersfield High School and worked as a truck driver for Mission Linen and Sullivan Petroleum Company.
Johnny was a beloved Husband, Daddy, Grandpa and Great Abuelito. He left behind so many cherished memories and a legacy of kindness and compassion. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, unwavering love, and dedication to his family and friends. He loved listening to his oldies, doing morning puzzles in the newspaper, watching his VHS tapes, cheering on his Rams, and talking with his grandkids.
Johnny is preceded in death by his parents Carlos and Maria, sister Cruzie, and brothers Carlos and Henry. Johnny is survived by his wife of 53 years Connie Sanchez, his sisters Toni and Connie, his daughters Regina, Joann (Mark), and Angel (Randy), as well as his grandchildren Raychelle, Jessica, Andrew, Isaiah, Brandon, Isaac, and Great Grandchildren Sofia and Brandon.
