Kyle Joseph Horton (29) was an absolute light to this world. Those that knew him loved him without question. He never met a stranger and would embrace anyone that needed a shoulder to lean on. Kyle was born in Bakersfield, CA to Jan and Greg Horton and siblings Chad, Bryce and Kristi on January 7, 1994. He spent the majority of his life residing in Bakersfield and attended Frontier High School. In school he was well known for his sense of humor and his selfless behavior in being a great friend to all. At a young age Kyle mastered his craft in music in playing the guitar, piano and drums, a passion he would carry for the entirety of his life. After high school he joined the United States Marine Corps where he was extremely proud to serve his country and it became his number one accomplishment. After Kyle served his time in the military, he came back to Bakersfield and shortly after met his love, Jori, who he would spend the next 6 years with. They had a beautiful son, Brooks, and were looking forward to soon having their wedding they had always dreamed of. Kyle was brought to the Lord far too soon, but there is comfort in knowing he is at peace and will live on through Brooks, along with the countless amount of silly photos and videos that family and friends will always hold onto. He will always be remembered as the best dad, fiancé, son, brother and uncle to his 8 nieces and nephews.
