Lupe Fernandez 93, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2024

In her home in Lamont, California surrounded by her loved ones.

Lupe Fernandez was born on January 10, 1931 in Bakersfield to

Feliciano Gonzales and Francisca Munoz Gonzales. Lupe is survived

By her 3 children, John and daughter in law Dolores Fernandez, Connie

And son in law Joel Sanchez, and Suzie Fernandez. Her 3 grandchildren

Jessica and grand son in law Jose Juarez, Michael Fernandez, and girlfriend

Maria, and James Fernandez. Her 2 great grandchildren Aly Juarez, and

“Papi” Jose Emiliano Juarez. She is survived by her sister Vera Gonzales

Ruiz. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded by death of her husband Juan Fernandez, her parents

Feliciano Gonzales and Francisca Munoz Gonzales, brothers Elias Gonzales,

Ralph Gonzales, James Gonzales, Joe Gonzales, and Manuel Gonzales. Her

sisters Margarita Gonzales Rodriguez, Rosie Gonzales, and Evelyn Gonzales.

Lupe attended Our Lady of Guadalupe school and shared a lot of stories about

her school years. She received all sacraments at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.

She loved working in her garden and taking care of her plants in her younger

days. Lupe enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her novellas.

She loved listening to mariachi music and also to Antonio Aguilar.

We love you mom and will miss you.
