Marcie F. Cottrill

Marcie F. Cottrill was born July 30, 1928 and passed away peacefully - after a long and full life - on October 13, 2023. Marcie was predeceased by her parents John Roy and Alice May Griffee, her brother Leon, her sisters Fannie Griffee-Baylor and Hope Reagan, her children's father (and husband of 43 years) Lawrence Brown, her husband Kenneth Cottrill and her first great-grandchild (whom she will meet for the first time in heaven) sweet baby Tenley Jean Trahan. Marcie is survived by her daughter Linda Bratcher, son-in-law Steve Bratcher, her son Larry Brown, her grandchildren Kristi Trahan and Kevin Bratcher, and her four great-grandbabies Kenzie, Jordan, Beau and Brielle. Services for Marcie will be held at Basham Funeral Home, 3312 Niles Street, Bakersfield, on Friday, October 27th, at 4:00 pm. Go rest, renew, and rejoice in Jesus's love, mama, until we see you again!
