Michael Ryan France May 1, 1992 - February 4, 2023 It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our son, Michael Ryan France, 30, born in Bakersfield Ca. on May 1, 1992 and went home to be with Our Lord on February 4, 2023. Michael grew up in Bakersfield attending OLPH school through 8th grade, Garces and Highland High Schools where he played football all 4 years. He had such a passion for the game, we loved watching him on the field helping lead his team to many victories. Michael was the baby of 3 boys and adored his brothers calling Matt his hero and Nick his best friend. The love between he and his brothers was very special and will remain forever. Michael enjoyed the outdoors, especially gold panning in the river with his dad. In recent years he lived in the LA area where he enjoyed being close to the ocean, cooking and spending time with his friend Abla whom he shared many wonderful adventures with. We are forever grateful to her for the love and compassion she showed him. Michael is survived by his parents, Laurie Geissel (Bob), Edward France (Marina), Brothers, Matt (Danyell), Nick (Karissa), Zak Geissel (Elisa), Josh Geissel (Laura), Kenny Geissel (Bridget). Sister, Latisha Gott (Chris). Grandparents, Doug and Sara Miller, Christene France, Ken Geissel and very special aunt, Judy Buechler. He will be missed by many aunt, uncles, cousins and numerous nieces and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harold France, grandmother, Sue Geissel and Uncle Bob Buechler. Michael will always be remembered for his big, beautiful smile, brights eyes, warm hugs and loving heart.
