Reggie Oliver Mireles

May 1, 1938 — March 19, 2023

Reggie entered into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who welcomed him into Heaven.

Reggie was born in Bakersfield, California to Tomas and Carmen Mireles. He attended local city schools and it was at East Bakersfield High School where Reggie's football and baseball talents would be recognized. Many people this day believe he definitely had Major League Baseball talent. He enlisted in the U.S. Marines Reserve where he served his country.

Reggie was hard working and joined the Laborer's Union Local 220 where he dedicated the next 30 years meeting many close friends until his retirement. For many years he enjoyed deer hunting trips to Utah and Colorado with family and friends. Stops in Las Vegas along the way made his trips more special.

He was preceded in death by his parents Tomas and Carmen, brothers Tony, David, Ronnie and sister Rebecca.

He will be greatly missed and is survived by his wife Frances Mireles, her son Tommy and Mary Nieblas, Tommy Jr. and Michelle and son Darrell, grandchildren Alex and Danniell, great-granddaughter Adalina. Surviving siblings brother Roy, sisters Marty, Gina, Rachel, Roberta, nieces and nephews. He truly loved his family.
