Salome P. Aranda

Salome Padilla Aranda was born December 18, 1925 in Phoenix, Arizona and passed away peacefully on February 3rd, 2016, a month after her 90th birthday. She married Clovis W. Aranda Sr. and had 9 children. She is survived by her sons Joseph Neri and Clovis Aranda, Jr and her five daughters Beatrice Ramirez (Aranda), Fay Romero, Susan Hernandez (Aranda), Patricia Aranda and Virginia Aranda. She is also survived by many Grandchildren, Great grandchildren, and Great-great grandchildren.



She was loved by many and we are thankful that she passed peacefully and in her own home. Special thanks to Hoffman Hospice for their support during this difficult time.



Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Basham-Hopson Funeral Care (620 Oregon St.) from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 at San Clemente Mission Parish (1305 Water St.) at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Historic Union Cemetery (730 Potomac Ave.)
