A Little Bit About Scott

Scott was born in Bakersfield, Ca to Jim and Virginia Duncan. He lived most of his adult life in Bakersfield where he met and married his wife of 36 years, Anita. Together they raised three daughters, Kimberly, Genifer, and Nina. His children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the highlight of his life. He loved and enjoyed every moment he spent with each of them.

What He Loved To Do

Scott was a well-known and respected painting contractor in Bakersfield, Ca. Scott ran his own painting business (Scott Duncan Painting) for many years. Scott's hard work, honesty, and pleasant personality gained him many friends along the way. When he did have time off Scott enjoyed golfing, vacations with his family at Bass Lake, swimming in the pool with his kids, and his dog Dolly, or watching John Wayne and Clint Eastwood cowboy movies. Scott is and always will be loved and missed very much. His sudden and unexpected death has left our family feeling an unimaginable heartache, pain, and sorrow. The memories of his laugh and him saying I love you will have to be enough, until we can be with him again.
