Velma Jean Jackson

On September 3, 1952 Velma Jean Jackson was born

to Patsy Lee Allen and Harold Jackson in Bakersfield, California. 

She attended Potomac Elementary, Lincoln Jr. High, and Bakersfield High School 

where she graduated from in 1970. Velma was very loving, and outspoken. 

She loved spending time with family. Velma is preceded in death by her

father Harold Jackson, grandparents Lucille and James Allen,

Henry Vassie Jackson, two sisters Marilyn and Carolyn Jackson,

four brothers Harold Jackson Jr., Edward Mc Collough Jordan.

She left to mourn her passing her mother Patsy Allen of

Bakersfield, California three daughters Felicia Whitfield and

Melva Hodge of Bakersfield, California Sabrina Hodge of 

Greenville, Mississippi, two sons Melvin Leroy Hodge II

and Ervin Hodge, seven sisters Patricia Jordan, Linda Mc Collough,

and Regina Jackson all of Bakersfield, California, Rhonda Trina 

Darazette and Loreen all of Richmond, California, two brothers

Wilfred and Kenneth Tucker of Bakersfield, California, 12

Grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Numerous aunts,

Uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins who will miss her presence.
