Eduardo Torres Aleman

Eduardo was born October 13, 1941 in Harlingen, Texas to Manuel Aleman and Eusebia Torres. At a young age he came to California with his family and remained until his passing on June 30, 2022. 

At the young age of seventeen Eddie came to California with his family and went to work for Bidart Brothers as a maintenance worker, then he went on to work for Tennaco West as a forklift driver. He enjoyed the horse races at the Kern County Fairgrounds, lotto and his scratchers. 

Eduardo is survived by his sons, Juan (Becky) Aleman and Raul (Theresa) Aleman; daughter, Sophia Vasquez; five Grandchildren; seventeen Great Grandchildren; his life companion of 50 years Sophia Padilla; brothers, Cosme, Manuel, Felipe, and Juan Aleman; sisters, Leticia Carmona and Amada Luera.
