Elena Trujillo, 83, passed away on May 21st,2019 at Golden Living in Shafter, CA.
She was born on October 26, 1935 in North Hollywood, CA to Francisco and Maria Rodriguez.
Elena grew up in North Hollywood CA. Where she attended North Hollywood High School.
She worked for Semitropic Elementary as a teacher's aide where she was employed for 25 years and was a Lovingly known as Mrs. T.
Elena married Jose C. Trujillo on June 25th, 1961 in San Fernando, CA. they moved to Wasco in 1970. They were married for 57 years.
She enjoyed reading, watching crime drama shows and was known for her delicious flour tortillas.
She loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Elena is survived by her husband Jose C. Trujillo of Wasco, CA.
Her daughters Maria Sierra and husband Jesse, Juanita Rodriguez and husband Leonard, Theresa Trujillo and husband Gus, Andrea Ruiz and husband David also Martha Gutierrez and husband Ralph.
Her brothers Anthony Rodriguez from Agora Hills, CA and Michael Rodriguez from Frazier Park, CA. Her sister Cecelia Monnette from North Carolina.
Grandchildren; Jesse Sierra, Jacob Sierra and wife Yvette, Leonard Rodriguez, Jr. and wife Holly, Adriana Rocha and husband Yonathan, Erica Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez, Kelsa Trujillo, Eric Trujillo, David Ruiz, Jr. Christina Ruiz, Corina Wiggs and husband Neil, Francisco Guiterrez and wife Grace Kelley also Katrinna Gutierrez and husband Abraham.
Great Grand Children; Nathan, Alyssa, Samantha, Abrahman, Jr. Dominic, Elijah, Christopher, Jax, Alexander, Mia, Olivia and many nieces & nephews.
Proceed in death by her parents, 10 brothers and sisters and two grandsons Rafael Gutierrez III and Angel Gutierrez.
Visitation will be held at Basham & Lara Funeral Care on Tuesday, May 28th, 2019 at 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Graveside Service on Wednesday, May 29th, 2019 at Wasco Cemetery Officiated by Pastor Johnny Martinez. Condolences may be left on Elena's online guest book at www.bashamfuneralcare.com.
She was a loving wife, mother, grand and great grandmother, she will be truly missed.
The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to Optimal Hospice and their team of angels who were wonderful staff in her care. Also, to the wonderful staff at Golden Living Center the family is eternally grateful for all the care she was given.
