Graveside services will be held at HillCrest Memorial Park and mortuary on Friday December 17, 2021 for Faye Weller who passed away on November 27, 2021 in Bakersfield, CA. Services will be conducted by Basham. Faye was born at home on the family farm May 15, 1940 in Eufaula, Oklahoma. She moved to California with her family in 1946 where she lived the rest of her life. She worked outside the home for a few years as a District Sales Manager for Avon Products and later sold real estate for Century 21, but the only true job she loved was as a wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother. Faye was a very patriotic and active member of Bakersfield Chapter of ; The Daughters of the American Revolution since 1983, She served as a Regent and many offices and chairmanships over the years. She loved cooking and was very creative in the kitchen; she won many blue ribbons for her entries at the Kern County Fair. She is survived by the love of her life her wonderful husband john Weller Sr. of 61, years, son John Weller Jr. (Darla), Faith Salmon of Texas, Grandson Cody of Bakersfield, Daughter Tammy of Las Vegas, NV, Brothers Leon Harris of Bakersfield, Brother Curtis Harris (Wanda), Boca Raton Florida, Sisters Elaine Haggard of Bakersfield, Ruth Toler, Polk City, Florida. She is also survived by her many wonderful nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. She is predeceased by her Father Oran Harris, Mother Ruby Monroe, and Brother Mel Harris. She would like to be remembered as a good christian, a good wife, Mother, Grand-Mother and as a good friend.
